Owning Your Own Legitimate Home Based Business in Kentucky
by Jonathan Kraft
September 20

Ever seen those ads, like the ones that read:

  • Thinking of ideas for a legitimate work at home business in Kentucky?
  • Start home based businesses all over America!
  • Want a model where you can base a business out of your Kentucky home?
  • The best home based business opportunity in Kentucky: entrepreneurs needed!
  • Do you like marketing? We have a network marketing opportunity for you!

I saw one the other day that said, "travel the world with your own legitimate home based business opportunity."  It's a mouthful, and read carefully.  Travel the world with a home based business?  Anyone else notice the oxymoron there?

Obviously, these ads wouldn't be running if people weren't finding opportunities outside of traditional employment, and often in their homes.  Now I don't know why they market them that way, but that's a whole other topic we won't go into right now.

The opportunity of owning your own business in Kentucky, where you can work from home, has never been better, or more popular an option, than it is at present.

Many Kentucky citizens are unhappy with their jobs, and it's little wonder!  Nationwide consumer debt (i.e. your credit card) is double what it was just 10 years ago, unemployment recently reached one of its highest rates since the depression, and job satisfaction is at an all-time low.  The idea of going to work to build someone else's business for 30 (or 40) years is, in most cases, just that: an idea.  For many people (not all, but many):

  • The gold watch has become a pen.
  • The retirement party has turned into a cake, and then a review of what's available in the employment classifieds.
  • The 401k has turned into a 201k.
  • The pension has become a ?

People are looking for opportunity outside the traditional employer - employee model,  and many in Kentucky are finding it in the home-based business model.  The home-based business model includes mlm (multi-level marketing), network marketing business, businesses exclusively for women, Internet Marketing, and much more.

Did you know that in 2003 alone, 30 million Americans started their own legitimate home-based business?  This is 10% of the US population (and that's just the legitimate home based businesses)!  A good portion of these people started their home based business in Kentucky.

People are looking for alternatives, and in many cases, they're finding those alternatives through a business model that was once thought to be not legitimate.

Most industries go through a time when society thinks they're not legitimate.

The point is this.  All opportunity goes through three stages:

At first it is ridiculed.
Network marketing was, for a long time, ridiculed, and was often called "an illegal pyramid scheme" by those who didn't really know how the business worked.  (This perception was helped by a few illegitimate businesses that became involved in the industry.)  Today, legitimate home based businesses, operating on the network marketing businesses model exist all over America, including Kentucky, and network marketing is even taught as a valid business model at Harvard Business School.

Next, it is violently opposed.
The Internet, as it reached the later 1990's, became a mainstream concept.  I remember asking a good friend in 1999 what his email address was.  He suddenly became very annoyed with me.  When I pressed him about it, he said the following words:

"The Internet is a tool of Satan.  I will never, ever, use email or the Internet."

Today, he has stopped emailing me, almost altogether, because every time he sends me an email, I email him back this simple message:  "Tool of Satan, huh?  --Jonathan"

Finally, it is regarded as self-evident.
Today, you don't bat an eye when you get up on a beautiful Kentucky morning to the sound of your alarm clock, brush your teeth, take a shower, microwave some food, get juice from the fridge, get bottled water for the workday, get in your car, answer your cell phone on the way to work, get in an accident, use your auto insurance, later on use your health insurance, get to work, listen to the Discman/Walkman/Computer, etc. etc. etc.

All the things I just mentioned, were once (and often more than once!) regarded as not necessary, impractical, not legitimate business ideas.

Alarm clock
Why would anyone wake up to a buzzer or the radio?

Toothbrush
I don't want to brush my teeth every day.

Shower
Indoor plumbing?  I've got an outhouse.

Refrigerator
That's too expensive.  Besides, I've got ice blocks and sawdust.

Bottled water
Water is free out of the tap.  I will never pay for it.

Car
A buggy not drawn by horses?  That could never be practical.  Besides, what if someone couldn't control their buggy?  I can at least control my horses.

Cell Phone
I hate talking on the phone.  Why would I want to take my phone with me?

Auto Insurance
Why would I prepay for my repairs, or someone else's?  I'll just pay for it or fix it myself.

Health Insurance
Why would I prepay for a doctor?  I've never been sick a day in my life.

Walkman
"
Mr. Morita overruled opposition from those within his own company who saw no future for the product."

The moral of this story is this:

Being skeptical is okay.  There is nothing wrong with it, and in fact it's healthy.  But before you decide that having a home-based business in Kentucky isn't for you, or that network marketing isn't for you, you might want to give one 1-2 years to see what it can do for you.  In the worst case scenario, you'll lose your initial investment and some time, but you will learn a lot.

In the best case scenario, your life will change, your friends will improve, and your financial picture will be brighter, all because you choose to start your own legitimate Kentucky home based business.

Today, I work with a variety of businesses.  I resell products for literally hundreds of vendors on more than 15 web sites.  I work with a few network marketing companies who offer many products.

However, the companies I am most excited about, are two I work with, who have partnered together to change North America for the better.  One is a business sitting on the New York Stock Exchange, with 32+ years of credible experience behind it.  The other is a business sitting on the NASDAQ, with 30+ years of incredible experience behind it.  These two companies are the product and service for the Kentucky home based business I'm most excited about.

If they're the product and service, what do I do?  Marketing.  That's it.  I market a product today which pays me, once/month, for as long as the person keeps it.

It is a legitimate home based business opportunity in Kentucky, where you have the ability to set your hours, your income, and change your life.

There is so much opportunity out there and available, and I'm taking advantage of some of that.  However, there has not been one like this, that has ever been presented to me before.  (And believe me, I've seen presentations for literally hundreds of hours on opportunities) This business is the place I'm choosing to spend the majority of my time over the next 3-10 years.

WHY?  That's the question you should always ask.  WHY?
Why would this obviously good-looking and intelligent and funny and smart (okay, enough shameless self-promotion!) guy who could do anything he wanted to do choose to work with these two companies?

It goes back to what I said before about something being

  • #1 Violently opposed
  • #2 Ridiculed
  • #3 Self-evident.

The products, and the company I will talk to you about, in the email I will send you, will show you the most important aspect of all of this:

TIMING!

Timing is to business what location is to real estate.

The two companies I'm going to show you have unquestionable timing in the North American marketplace today.

Here's the deal:

The product is owned by only 2% of Americans today.  Within 15 years, 60%-80% of Americans will own the product.

Currently, the company does nearly half a million in sales.  Three - five years from now, the company will be a multi-billion dollar company.

What does this mean for you?

The opportunity to make awesome MONEY!

The best part about it is the following:

  • You don't have to handle any lotions, potions, or pills.
  • You don't have to have a warehouse for your product, because the product is not something you have to physically hold.
  • It's not buying your household stuff on the Internet.  (Which, by the way, is a great business model, but Amazon, Ebay, and Yahoo pretty much have that market wrapped up.)
  • It's not something you have to spend more than 7-10 hours/week on.
  • You can market a product that everyone needs, anyone can afford, and, quite literally, has very little real competition in North America today.

So What IS IT?

I would be happy to share the information with you, and all you have to do is enter your name and email address below.  Your phone number and comments are entirely optional.

Is this free?

The email is absolutely free.  Beyond that, there is a minimal cost of $3,000,000 to get started.

There's no such cost!  I just made that up, but here's my point.  Regardless of what anyone will tell you, there is always some cost associated when you start a home business in Kentucky.  There is always an investment of time, and often, there is an investment of money.

But there is an investment in any kind of business.  Do you think HP, Microsoft, SONY, Wal-Mart, or any other business got started without a financial and time investment?

There is danger in investing into anything.  I should know.  I've invested both time and money into lots of home based businesses, online courses, a few that called themselves "Get rich quick opportunity," ebooks, home mailers, and more.  It's ended up in a lot of frustration for me, because my goal is this:

Retire young, so that I can use my time and income to really make a difference in people's lives.

That's the whole essence of my strive4impact philosophy which you'll read about in many places on this site.

Maybe you can relate to the frustration of wanting to make positive changes in the world, or Kentucky, or even in your backyard, but are unable to do so because of the constraints of time and money.  That's how I felt prior to beginning these businesses, both those on this page, and on other pages I have about how make money from a home based business in Kentucky.

Which is why, after having tried several home-based businesses (stuffing envelopes, home assembly, potions, lotions, and pills), I have decided to share with you some different kinds of information than you'll see anywhere else, simply by sharing your email address with me.

So, before you decide you can't afford it, or don't have any money to get started, why not just find out what it is?  All that is going to happen is that you are going to get email from me.  If you don't like it, just delete it.

If you do like it, and want to make it your own Kentucky home-based business, call me, or email me, and we'll get you started learning more about this opportunity immediately!

Enter your name and phone number below.

Is this a Network Marketing Home business?  Multilevel Marketing/MLM Home business?

There is nothing wrong with some of the large multi-level marketing companies out there.  In fact, Network Marketing has gotten a bad reputation over the past 10-15 years.

The Kentucky home based business I will be telling you about offers you the best promise for developing a successful home-based business, and generating income.

You will have the ability whether or not to become involved, but I want you to make your decision based on the product I will show you, not based on your perception of network marketing.  If you can get excited about the product, then I want to help you start the best home based business available today!

Why do I say that this is the best home-based opportunity?  Because, aside from everything I have told you above, the reason this is the best is because it's been my experience that it is the best.  I'm doing it.  I'm running a successful home-based business, and making excellent money.

So why do I share it with you?  Well, I want to help you be successful, because if I can do that, I can have everything I want, and I can live a significant life by helping you get everything you want.

I try to live by this philosophy, and I run my business using it:

Help enough other people get what they want, and you can have everything you want.

I was telling this to a good friend of mine, and she asked,

"Is it really about the money?"

"No," I told her.  "It's about never having to worry about money again."

And it's not about money.  What it is about:

  • It's about not having to live paycheck to paycheck.
  • It's about living a life of abundance, where money isn't a concern.
  • More than that, it's about sharing that abundance with others.
  • It's about associating with positive people who want to escape the rat race.
  • It's about having more time and money to travel, be with family and friends, and read.  I love to read and learn new things!
  • It's about realizing that I can have what I want from life.
  • It's about making a positive contribution, and a significant contribution, which betters life for people who I've never even met.

So, that having been said, if you're still reading, then we're probably on the same page about goals, and I'd like to introduce myself.  My name is Jonathan.  I've never taken an official class in web design, sales, or marketing for that matter.  (I have gone to see Brian Tracy one time though.)  I don't have any particular special training or degrees.  I am, as of September 2004, a college graduate (B.A. Human Communication), and a certified massage therapist (CMT) in Colorado, USA.

I suppose if you want to count my B.A. or CMT as special training for having my own home based business, you can.  But what I've learned about being successful hasn't happened because of my degree or CMT, it's happened because I've gone through a lot of trial and error with home-based businesses, both on and off line.

I am single, and I have a great girlfriend.  I was a high school German and theater teacher for 2 years out of college, and realized very quickly that the salary I was earning was helping me to pay the bills, but not really to get ahead, and that was not okay with me.

Someday I would like to get married and have kids, and the teacher salary I would earn by then would not allow me to give them the life of abundance I want to give them.  So, I'm trying something different.

It's working.

I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosaki, and Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.  These influenced my philosophy greatly about building business.  (That philosophy is part of why I'm interested in helping you to build a home based business in Kentucky.)

I started building web sites and selling everything from calling cards to skin care (while being a full-time teacher).

One day while teaching school, a gentleman who was helping a disabled student in one of my classes came to me and asked me to look at something.  I did and got involved, because the product made so much sense to me.

Today, I am asking you to look at something.

If it's not for you, that's totally fine.  But obviously, you ended up on this page wanting to know something about a legitimate home-based business in Kentucky, and although this page is long, you haven't really learned that much yet.

So, enter your name and email below, and I will send you some information.  It may not be for you.  But then again, it may be!  You will never know until you check it out, and you have to think:

What if this were a way for me to achieve financial independence, and I just passed it up?

Don't pass it up.  Request information now.  You will get email from me and no one else, because I absolutely despise SPAM.

P.S. If you decide not to start a Kentucky home-based business (after looking at the information), using the model I'm talking about,  that's fine.  I want to spend the majority of my time supporting people who really do want to start legitimate home based businesses in Kentucky through the company I mention above.

P.P.S.  When you get started working with us, you will have the support of myself and, at least, 5 people on my team who are earning an average of $8,000/month or more.  They will help you because they have many great incentives to help you in your Kentucky home based business, and they will help you to change your life through the revolutionary home based business idea that is our product.

Thank-you, all the success in the world to you,
and I look forward to working with you!

Jonathan
