Today, Anne was nice enough to take me to the Zollamt (customs office) to try to pick up my boxes. If you don't know the boxes story, refer back to earlier days. Anyway, I haven't been able to pick up 3 of the boxes that I sent to myself because I sent them to Bob McLaughlin (who is the exchange coordinator for the American exchange students), and so the notifications of delivery were sent to him, but since he is out of town in Scottland, I don't have the notifications from the Post Office that were sent to him. So we went to the customs office with my paperwork from having sent the boxes from the US and my passport, and they still wouldn't let me pick them up (I was looking right at them), but they did say that they wouldn't send them back after 7 days like they usually do and that they would hang on to them for me. So that's good.
So I went back with Anne and took some pictures of her place to put on this site. She has a very nice apartment!
Later on that night, many of the exchange students and "buddies" went to Tarok, a restaurant/bar near the university center in Oldenburg.

This is the special of the week (which happens to be Ostrich fillet), next to the Speisekarte for Tarok.

The girl in the blue with her head turned around is from Lithuania.
Two nice pictures of Kurt and Anne (ahn-uh)

Myself and Aliya
Some of these faces should be starting to look familiar by now. It's nice to have met a lot of people so far!

I lived and studied at the German university in Oldenburg which is near Bremen, and about two hours east of Hamburg, Germany. Clearly visible on the map are Bremen and Twistringen, Germany. When I go back, I'd like to visit Hannover and Berlin, as well as Cologne. Also, I'd like to visit more German castles, Because I only visited two in Nuremberg.
