Over 1400 Germany pictures - Oldenburg Innenstadt

21 April

On this evening, Kurt and I organized an event where the guys cooked main dishes, and the girls brought salad, drinks, dessert, etc.  It was a great time and was definitely an excellent meal!!!

Valentin (Romania) makes an excellent pasta dish! Valentin, Kurt, and Jared in the kitchen on the 2nd floor of Huntemannstrasse.

Guten Appetit!

I made the two pans of lasagna that you can see in this picture!  (One with meat, one without.)

This was the dish that Kurt cooked.  I italicize was, because it was gone in about 30 seconds.  Es schmeckt lecker!

Monika and Agneshka (probably spelled that wrong) are both from Poland.  Mara is from Italy and speaks English with a wonderful Italian accent!

Brigitte (Wisconsin) and Roberto (Spain)

Playing darts in the hallway!

Mindy (Wisconsin), Joni (Denver, Colorado), Jenny (Great Britain),  (Wisconsin), Brigitte (Wisconsin), Lara (Maryland), Mara (Italian living in Wisconsin studying in Germany), Monika (Poland), and of course, me in the picture with all these lovely women!  (Roberto is standing outside wondering why he's not inside.)

Joni cut her bangs, so to make sure that they were straight, we took a few pictures.  Here's one of them. Are they straight? Joni and Selene (France)

Laura (Spain) and Gizam (Turkey)

Selene (France) and Anne (Germany)

Germany Map - where I lived

I lived and studied at the German university in Oldenburg which is near Bremen, and about two hours east of Hamburg, Germany.  Clearly visible on the map are Bremen and Twistringen, Germany.  When I go back, I'd like to visit Hannover and Berlin, as well as Cologne.  Also, I'd like to visit more German castles, Because I only visited two in Nuremberg.  Click on the Germany links on this page to see pictures and advice about studying abroad in Germany (and traveling advice for France), or click the links below to go to strive4impact.com's other pages.
