If you are looking for someone to come and paint your house or somewhere else, here's our recommendation - call the painter, and ask if you can talk to one of their previous customers.

Here are ten questions you ask as soon as you get a hold of the company's previous customer.

1. Were you able to communicate well with the paint company?
2. Were you pleased with the quality of work? (This is a tough question, since everyone defines "quality" differently, but basically, did the painter do a "good" job?)
3. Were you satisfied with the painter's business practices?
4. Did the painter (or paint crew) show up on time?
5. Were you comfortable having the painter in your home/business?
6. Was the job completed on schedule?
7. Did the painter fulfill his or her contract?
8. Did the painter stay in touch throughout the project?
9. Were the final details finished in a timely manner?
10. Would you use the painter again without hesitation?

With these 10 questions, you can be pretty sure that you're getting a good painter to come to your home.
