As Many people know, much of what we use in America
and around the world is made in China, so it is not particularly
difficult to find "Chinese products." Chances are, you have
something in your home that (perhaps even the mouse you are using to
scroll this page) was made in China.
This page lists items in two sections. It lists
some lesser-known places where you can purchase some authentic
Chinese products (products relating to Chinese history, culture,
customs, etc.), and then it lists web sites which will help you
in making travel preparations for China (Many of these links can
also be found on the TRAVELING TO CHINA ADVICE
PAGE
Some of the very best Chinese products (items
actually made in China) can be found at the web site below.

GOING TO CHINA HELPFUL SITES
Imagine yourself climbing over
1,000 steps to the top tower of the most difficult climb on the
Great Wall of China. The further up you go, the more
immersed in fog you become, the more still the air becomes, the
fewer people there are because the climb is long and
difficult. As you reach the seventh tower, you feel a
sense of accomplishment and inspiration for the future. It's
wonderful and exhilirating: Your heart is pounding
and you realize how fortunate you are to be
alive! Now imagine that climb in uncomfortable
shoes... Happy Feet Plus:

Magellan's has sooooo MANY great toys
for travel! The one that you NEED TO HAVE is a
voltage converter/adaptor plug kit. I was in three
different cities during my time in China, and in three
different hotels, I used three different types of adaptor
plugs. Check out what else they have to offer,
but don't go to China without taking some type
of voltage converter/adaptor kit. (Assuming you
want your electrical stuff to work, that is.)
