Toiletten

In Germany, England, and France, when they say toilette, or toilet, it just generally means what we call the bathroom.  In the case of Huntemannstrasse where I live, toiletten means the room where the toilets are, because the showers are in a different room.  On the plane ride on the way here, I asked where the badezimmer was (which means bathroom in German), and the lady kind of looked at me like I was from another planet, expecting that there would be a room with a 'bath' on a plane.

If you were to put these four pictures together, it would kind of form a 3 dimensional picture of the toiletten room.

Because guys and girls both share the same toilets, the ladies have a request.

More or less it says "It is not so bad if you have to use this 'girl toilet,' but please regard yourself as a guest here, and don't stand while you pee."
