Redneck Wine Glasses

"Hi, I am looking for a short poem--- i am making the redneck wineglasses (canning jars on candle sticks) for christmas gifts and possible to sell. I am in need of a short poem that I can print and hang around the stem of the glassware. something short and sweet (clean) that will have something to do with the redneck/hillbilly/arkansas "wineglass"

Some British folks named William and Nancy
Decided to drink their drinks all fancy
But in Arkansas we know what to think
Food is food and a drink’s a drink.

So don’ worry much ‘bout bein’ prim and proper
Pull out the cork, throw out the stopper.
An’ pour yerself a glass or two
in this glass fer rednecks like me an’ you.

“Canning jars on candlesticks?
What else ya got in yer bag o tricks?”
asked Jimbo to his friend Billy Bob.
(Neither were the town heartthrob.)

Said Billy Bob to his friend Jimbo
“Got nuthin’ else, but I’ll have you know…
Arkansas women are simply divine.
And this glass won the heart o’ that wife o’ mine.”

His wife had been the town’s little belle
But no one had known how she could have fell
For a man like Billy Bob who was kind of uncooth
But now it was out, they all knew the truth.

“So I guess it’ll do for anyone to drink
Anything you dun’ made in the bathroom sink
And wine from that French town, Paree.
The glass is good enuf fer her, so it’s good enuf fer me.”
