This is the section of Strive4Impact.com, where you can read, every day, something I wrote since I was 13 years old (1993).  Some of it's adolescent angst, but some of it is quite good, and I hope you'll agree.  What are we up to now? Currently, my wife and I are traveling the world and blogging our experience.  We may have been somewhere you would like to go, or maybe we could come to meet you?  Either way, you may find our reviews and advice helpful.  Check it out at http://www.CarrieAndJonathan.com

Here I am at the NET retreat

January 21, 1994
(Jonathan is 14)

Dear God,

Here I am at the NET retreat.

I feel you here, but somehow it's lacking reverence. Help these kids to know and understand you. That you're not just some person that their mom or dad makes them go to church every weekend for. Help them to recognize you as more than a person that can help them throughout their life and struggles. When they confide in you, they will truly know your power. Help me to show people like this who you are. I'm not sure how I will do it, but I know that with your help, I will be able to accomplish this, my task, for you.

Help this NET team, and all other NET teams, to spark interest in you. Then, help those kids to discover you in their own way. Each individual will have their own discovery. Help these kids to be reached by you.

Jackie is so depressed. It will be my job to spark interest in you, for her.

God, help the victims of violence, help the poor. Help church leaders make decisions for you. Help government officials to "Choose The Right." Help world leaders around the world do what they need to do to promote peace and equality for all. God, mostly, help people to discover you in a world that sometimes seems very lost.

Peace always from your friend,
Jonathan Kraft
